Anne-Laure Liégeois entered the world of theatre with the translation and staging of Seneca's Festin de Thyeste, which gave her company its name. In a spirit of wandering and large-scale meetings of artists, she created Christian Rullier's Le Fils (The Son) for approximately 50 actors in disused industrial spaces; Ça (That), which brings together authors and actors in open-air rooms; and Embouteillage (Traffic jams) which, setting up in forests and on cliffs, summons 27 authors and conquers the audience of the Festival d'Avignon installed in cars. Anne-Laure Liégeois is the creator of the set designs and costumes for her shows, and also maintains a constant link with music. She was appointed head of the Centre dramatique national de Montluçon in 2003.
