After several years of studying architecture, Hervé Robbe decided to become a dancer. He was primarily trained at Mudra, Maurice Béjart's school in Brussels. He began his career as a performer by dancing the neo-classical repertoire, then collaborated with various contemporary choreographers.
In 1987, he founded his own company: the Marietta Secret. After thirteen years as artistic director of the CCN du Havre Haute-Normandie, Hervé Robbe continues his adventure as an artist and teacher since 2012 with TRAVELLING & CO.
At the same time, Hervé Robbe supervises a cycle of two training courses/laboratories for choreographers entitled PROTOTYPE & DIALOGUE at the Fondation Royaumont.
